OUR MISSION

Our vision is to create life-long learning opportunities for individuals and to significantly reduce the skills shortage in the technical disciplines in South Africa. We offer to:
  • ensure ongoing support to learners and follow through until competence is gained
  • provide national recognition in line with the National Qualifications framework
  • commit to the highest levels of ethnics and integrity
  • constantly improve on the effectiveness of our training provision.

HOW OUR COURSES BENEFIT YOU?

  • Introducing CNC programming to a fast growing market, educating people interested in the field and to create a trade for you
  • Increase the understanding and knowledge of all people already in the CNC field (Operators, Setters, Programmers, Foremen, Managers and Company Owners)
  • Increase the productivity of all workers by learning to use CNC equipment more productively
  • The exam results provide information as to the potential of your workers

INTRODUCTION TO CNC

A course where we provide background of major CNC fields to better assist the student in choosing his course, basics in Turning and Milling and an overview of Quality Control

QUALITY CONTROL

This course will allow the student to do quality control and ensure the material made is in good form. This is a pre-requisite for the Basic Programmer and Practical setter Course.

BASIC OPERATOR AND PROGRAMMER

A theoretical course which will allow you to learn all you need to know about Operating a CNC Machine as well as programming it

CNC SIMULATOR

We offer and work on the world’s leading CNC Simulator. This is not just a simulator, but an integrated software package. Setup, program and operate various CNC Machines in a virtual and safe environment. Supports 2 axis to 5 axis CNC Machines

The simulator we use for our training is for sale, so even those who don’t have the opportunity to use our facilities, can still get an edge over their competitors faster.

ADVANCED LATHE PROGRAMMING

A theoretical course which teaches the  student to program a Lathe, write programs using Can cycles, Sub programs, using correct feeds and speeds, when to use a certain radius, distinguish the difference between G41 and G42 and also monitor the tool nose radius direction

BASIC MILLING

A theoretical course which teaches the student everything about the Mill writing machine: How it works, how to use it, programming it and understanding how to set it

CAD CAM (EdgeCAM/MasterCAM)

A computer course where the student will learn how to draw and make certain programs for the CNC machines on the EdgeCAM software.

PRACTICAL SETTER COURSE

This course teaches the student to manually use M.D.I (Manual Data Input) as well as using a hand wheel and jog to machine jaws, how to load a program and run them in auto mode, and how to set tools in geometry and change offsets.
